The book i'm reading (The Juvie Three) is about 3 young kids that got in trouble when they were young.Their names are: Gecko, Terrence and Arjay. The initial problem was when Gecko, the leader, stole a car, Infiniti, while Terence was stealing a store. He didn't even have his license. Things didn't go well and they crashed the car because trhe police started chasing them and they crashed. After that the 3 kids went to Juvie. Later on a girl   named Haley took them out of there and they started living together in an apartment. They just had to go to school, collect garbage, their punishment, and go to therapy. But, like I said before, they were always in trouble and they could not control themselves and they were always fighting with each other for stupid things, although they knew that there was a lady in school that was looking for an excuse to put them back in jail.

IThe crimes were committed outside of school. Do you think the school should punish them for what they did outside the school?

  1. I personally believe that the school should not get involved with something that doesn't happen during school. whatever happens on your own time is your problem, not the schools.

  2. No. The school should just worry about what happens during school hours and on their property. Anything off school property and after school hours should be dealt with by the kids parents or the police depending how bad it is. The school taking action and giving further punishment is uncalled for because in reality they aren't our parents or high authority.

  3. No, I don't think that the school should punish them for committing a crime outside of school because it is not the schools problem. If they are going to be punished it should be from the parents or the police because it is outside of school and not on the school's property.

  4. No, the school has nothing really to do with what happens in our personal life. what is done after school hours shouldn't be brought back to school the next day. No punishment to be given because the school wasn't involved (after hours) and its our personal life.
